3 Mad Rush Stuffers!

Ever wondered what items you could get when you're in a mad rush for that last minute Christmas gift? Spent too much on gifts that you completely missed out that 1 person's gift and you have no more money to spend on them??

Fret not Mischevious, here are some solutions for the last minute gift exchange that you can give without busting your bank!

What's great about the holiday season is that many items are on sale! Be it as a pre-packaged gift set or even something that is on clearance. Stocking stuffers are the best things to gift someone when u have no idea what to gift them and you are on a budget. Find out the things they like to do on the everyday or even if they are heading to that vacation they have been waiting for a very long time!

What I love to do when I'm personalising gifts is that I fill the present given with lots of care. I love baking but I also do love pampering myself on occasions. To tell you the truth, I never went to a spa or even a massage because I just don't like the idea of spending money for something I can do at home!

I love the thought of practical gift ideas. Why? Because I'd love to receive gifts I am able to use over and over again or even satisfy me indefinitely rather than have it collect dust on a shelf.

1. Travel sized beauty products

Sample sized items are always a welcomed item for both men and women. Ever had those times when you felt like you wanted to try out a product without purchasing that full sized bottle? Same thing! This would be a good idea to compile your friends who you want to give a personalised care package to! Bathsalts to even facials. Stress relieving to Emergency care packs. You can be as creative as you want to!

Here are some ideas you can follow or modify to create your own.

For her: Rejuvenation Pack

What's in the pack:

- innisfree facial mask ($2)

-innisfree wash-off/sleeping mask small capsule ($2)

-sephora fizzing cube for foot soak or bathtub ($2)

-optional gift box/wrapping ($1)

Total cost: $6-$10 appx.

For Him: Mr.Suave is refreshed

What's in the pack:

- gatsby hair wax ($5)

- himalaya lip balm ($2)

- eclipse mints ($3)

- cologne refillable atomiser ($5)

Total cost: $15 appx.

2. Nostalgic childhood treats

If you're a 90s kid you will definitely remember some of these sweets we used to buy at the mamak shops or convenience stores. Saving your money to buy unnecessary knick-knacks because internets and social media wasn't as readily available as it is now.

Just gather a bag of these goodies! You will definitely evoke memories of their childhood!

Total cost: $5-$10 appx. (depends on the item you are buying)

3. Handwritten letters

Nothing beats getting a handwritten letter nowadays. I LOVE getting personal letters and reading them. I love writing as it gives me an outlet to pour out all the emotions I keep inside.

So get that fancy pens and papers out and write a letter to them. Be it sharing a funny or emotional memory or even just that motivational letter they require and how you appreciate them being a part of your life.

You could even combine the above packs with the handwritten letter to make it extra special.

Why not snail mail it to make it more surprising when they open the mailbox?

Total cost: $0.37-$2 (if you have the necessities already, just pay for a local stamp)

It's really not about the price of the gift, it's about the value in sentiments that people will treasure most. Putting a thought into the gifts you make or create will touch your loved ones more than buying a pre-packaged gift set that could just be an after thought.

Here's to wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday!

xoxo
