So, I've been trying out this product for about 2 times thus far from the first impression video I've made. (Linked down below). And my thoughts still stay the same.
1. Upon first application, while waiting the 5 mins while the balm is curing on my head, it felt cooling and like a menthol was applied to my head.
2. During the washing off stage, the balm felt a little greasy still but upon drying, it didn't at all. Definitely would use it again as I'm fond of the scent and texture it gives my hair.
3. For frizzy hair people out there, please use a hair oil to supplement after your hair has fully dried. I find that the hair becomes more smoother and softer when you condition after your hair has fully dried. In my head the reasoning is that the hair static gets muted when u apply moisturiser to your hair after it has dried and we don't accidentally use too much product. maybe science?)
4. This definitely cuts down the hair washing time and speeds it up by a whole lot! I definitely love the convenience of the product in a bottle! A busy/lazy girl needs all the shortcuts in her life!
From the get go, this product definitely didn't claim that it would be frizz-free, but would nourish, soften and de-tangle curls. I would probably compare it to the L'OREAL EVERCURL HYDRACHARGE Shampoo/Conditioner as that particular shampoo has claims for Frizzy hair control.
In summary, I'll definitely repurchase the cleansing balm in my days of LAZY syndrome. Such a life saver. Try it out for yourself!
