Is Núodle (牛一嘴) Hand pulled Beef Noodles Worth a Try?

To kick-off my own SG Soup Season, we have the restaurant Núodle, that specialises in hand pulled beef noodles. We'll be trying one of their Signature La Mian dishes, but you can see their spread of main dishes from the image below.

What I Ordered: 1x Reg Signature Beef La Mian (M2) w/ flat noodles 1x Sour Plum Drink 1x Pickled Cucumbers

This is what the whole set looks like. Looks refreshing doesn't it! Let's review my experience! Ordering Process So the whole entire ordering and payment process was done at the main counter. You will be given a buzzer that will vibrate when your order is ready for collection at their collection counter. Taste

Sour Plum Drink- What I liked about the packaging was that it was a ziplock bag with a handle that you can take to-go! Poke your straw in and drink up! However, the sour plum drink was very sweet and it was not chilled, which was disappointing. It would have been a delicious refreshing drink if ice was filled in it. Picked Cucumber- This was the highlight of the whole entire meal and I actually attempted to make my own pickled cucumbers at home! (Which was surprisingly easy) Signature Beef La Mian- This main dish was slightly disappointing, the soup was too salty. All I wished I ordered was a bottled water, as I tried my best to finish the meal. The drink I ordered was too sweet and concentrated that it didn't quench my palette at all. Summary To summarise the experience, the soup quality was just okay but too salty for my taste. Maybe the broth had reduced too much during the simmering process and possibly requesting for a glass of hot drinking water would be better to dilute the soup to your liking. The portions was just right. Would I visit the restaurant again? I would come back to try other dishes on their menu, but maybe skip on their soups if they are consistently salty like the one I tried here. And also definitely request for ice cubes if they have for the drinks.... (This review is based on my eating experience at their Northpoint City branch, which has since closed, and their other available stores are on the Eastside of Singapore.)

XOXO
