Tephungg, Nutella Tart

Eid celebrations are slightly dampended this year due to the global pandemic. However this doesn't mean that you can't purchase goodies or your own consumption.

The most recent purchase I made is a friend's sideline business selling nutella tarts! They're called Tephungg! Visit their IG here!

Here is my review about their Nutella tart!

Price: $23

Qty: 54pcs

Price wise, its very comparable to other Nutella tarts out there. If you like the taste of creamy nutella enveloping your mouth, these are the tarts for you!

However, we all have different preferences woth food and it's subjective. To me, there are some room for improvements. The taste of the tart and filling together lacks a certain balance. The tart is a bit bland on its own and gets overpowered by the Nutella cream. Maybe having a slightly more milkier tart base may help with to balance the taste of the two entities together.

The Tehpungg team definitely is receptive to feedbacks and any bit to improve their bakes will go into making a better recipe for future customers.

Before you go! I'll share with you my favourite way of eating nutella. Try toasting it!

I've even toasted these tarts and they taste so good warm! Try it! Sedap weh! Macam makan tart baru kluar oven! (Delicious! Just like fresh out of the oven!)

Let it cool and eat it slightly warm. This method of toasting it will definitely change the creamy texture as it bakes the chocolate filling.

If you wish to give this new Home Based business a try, hit them up! They open for weekend slots!

Selamat Hari Raya!
